HINCKLEY’S Elbow Room Ale and Cider House could reopen their doors as soon as tomorrow evening, state bosses at the venue, following the installation of their new flooring.
As we reported just a few days ago back on Friday 16 October, the Station Road-based micro-pub had closed their doors for renovation works to the bar area to install a new main flooring.
The Elbow Room were set to be closed for the works for a total of two days from Monday 19 October until Tuesday 20 October, however the publican has explained in a post on Facebook that they had a conversation with the fitters regarding an earlier reopening tomorrow evening.
Coming out of the conversation with the flooring fitters, it seems like the Elbow Room have been given the ‘green light’ to open sooner than expected. The ale house were initially set to reopen the next day on Wednesday 21 October.
A spokesperson for the Elbow Room Ale and Cider House said: “Great news! I’ve had chance to have a chat with the fitters it seems likely we will be able to open Tuesday evening which is fab. I will post an update on timings.”
Discounted cask ale
The award-winning micro-pub further announced their involvement in Hinckley Bid’s Shop Hinckley Half-Term event to their regular patrons.
Hinckley Bid’s Shop Hinckley Half-Term event is taking place from 19 October until 24 October, with a ten per cent off offer on cask ales – Hinckley’s town centre retailers and restaurants will be offering special discounts for customers.
