DISCOUNT CHAIN Poundstretcher have announced plans to close one of their branches in nearby Nuneaton.

That is their outlet on the Station Retail Park, near Nuneaton railway station, which has had a long-established presence at the complex since it first opened as ‘instore’.

Shoppers were informed of the planned closure as a closure sale is now being held inside, and closure notice signs cover the main windows, and front door windows.

The notice simply reads: “Store closing. 20% off everything in store.”

Hinckley Free Press have not yet reached out to Poundstretcher for comment at the time of publication (10 November). However, we have been informed that at present, employees at the site are unsure where they will go once it has closed for good.

It is worth noting that Poundstretcher will retain their branch in the town centre near the Abbeygate, which is just a seven minute walk away, or two minute drive away.
