A VIDEO game retailer based inside of a Nuneaton shopping centre is on the move.

That is national retailer Game, who set up shop inside the Ropewalk in June 2020, inside of a former menswear shop.
They will be moving into Nuneaton’s long-established Sports Direct shop in two weeks time, on Friday, 10 November. It is just a four minute walk from their existing site.
News of the closure was made known through notices signposted to the shop’s front doors, which has been seen by the Hinckley Free Press, as well as town shoppers.
They read: “Store closing – all stock must go.” and “It’s not goodbye, we’re moving. Sports Direct. 11 Harefield Road, by the bus station. 10th November.”
This marks the third time that the chain have re-located in the town.
Before moving into the Ropewalk, they had a long-established branch on Queens Road, opposite McDonald’s, in a unit which now plays home to Coventry Building Society.
The move into Sports Direct is not as unexpected as it may sound. In fact, many other branches already have this concept, including Fosse Park, and Leicester city centre.
