A RECRUITMENT event is being held in Hinckley’s Atkins Building by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) this Thursday (27 October).

The event will help jobseekers as well as those looking to change their careers, meet with potential employers, training providers, and career advisers, where they will be able to learn more about local job vacancies.

A poster shared to the official Atkins Building website simply reads: “Open to everyone whether you are unemployed, employed, a graduate, have just left school, or are looking for a career change.”

In addition, an Atkins Building spokesperson issued a statement on social media site Facebook, where they encouraged residents and visitors to head on down on the day.

They said: “Come and speak with employers, training providers and career advisers at the DWP Recruitment Event on Thursday, 26 October, at Atkins Building!”

It will be held for a total of three hours, starting at 10am, and finishing at 1pm.
