They were able to make the sessions a reality again by successfully securing funding from the National Lottery Community Fund – a fund from the National Lottery which uses players’ money distributed in grants to “improve organisation’s communities”.

The sessions will be for children aged 5 to 11, and will be held inside the Millennium Hall from 9am to 2pm on 24 July, 25 July, 26 July, 31 July, 1 August, and 2 August.

They will only set parents back the small sum of £5 for one day, or £10 for three days.

However, a parish council spokesperson has made it known that spaces are limited on select dates – notably the end of July and start of August.

They said: “The sessions will be held at Millennium Hall from 9am until 2pm, with some very limited spaces remaining on 31st July, 1st and 2nd August”.

Parents who are interested in booking a place for their children are encouraged to email event organiser Liz Causon by emailing her on liz.causon@tigers.co.uk.
