WARWICKSHIRE POLICE officers have located and arrested a wanted man, aged 35, with links to nearby Nuneaton.

A spokesperson for the force has confirmed this morning (21 June) that they have located and arrested Wayne Harvey on suspicion of theft, burglary and assault, after launching an appeal to find him yesterday afternoon.

No details were revealed on where he was located, but in the ‘wanted’ appeal, it was noted he had links to two Warwickshire towns – Nuneaton and Leamington Spa.

The news was made known through a statement issued on their official website and social media channels respectively, which thanked people for sharing the appeal.

Their statement simply reads: “Thank you to everyone who shared an appeal to help us locate Wayne Harvey.

“A 35-year-old man from Nuneaton has been arrested on suspicion of theft, burglary and assault.”
