A CANNABIS GROW was discovered inside a former bank branch in Bedworth, near Nuneaton, on Monday (20 March).

PC Chris Jones, of Bedworth’s Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), found that a former bank branch in the town centre was being used as a makeshift cannabis factory, whilst he was out on a foot patrol.
And, one of the plants which had been growing inside was standing in excess of 7 foot tall.
The former bank has since been made ‘safe and secure’ once again by officers, with all equipment used for the production of the illegal plants subsequently being seized.
In a post shared on the Facebook page for Nuneaton and Bedworth Police, a force spokesperson jokingly quipped that the criminals who want the assortment of tools back should contact the force.
They said: “The offenders have left behind an assortment of tools, if they would like to collect them please contact 101 and quote crime reference 23/11849/23.”
