CREATIVE artists and makers across the Hinckley and Bosworth borough are being encouraged to submit their works to the Atkins Gallery’s Open Gallery later this year.

The open exhibition, titled ‘What Makes a Home?’, will feature work which is inspired by the question of “what does home mean to you?”, and it will open on 17 July.
An Atkins Building spokesperson said that home may mean a wide array of different things – such as a place of comfort, safety, family, a building, spiritual term, or even special objects or traditions which make it your home respectively.
They further added: “The What Makes a Home? exhibition opens 17 July 2023 in Atkins Gallery and is supported by Hinckley Museum who are lending objects representing our homes of the past.”
Interested applicants can supply up to three pieces relating to the theme for £12.
