POLICE have issued an appeal to locate a missing man from Narborough.

Ross Thompson, aged 44, was last spotted last Friday (24 February) in the Stewart Avenue area.
When he was last seen, he was dressed in all black – wearing black boots, black jeans, a black hoodie, and carrying a black rucksack.
He has been described as 5ft 9ins tall, of a slim build, with short brown hair.
Since he has been reported as ‘missing’, officers have carried out a number of enquiries to try and find him – and they want to hear from any members of the public who may have details of his whereabouts.
It has been noted that he is originally from Scotland, and it is believed that he may have travelled over to Edinburgh on the day that he was last seen (24 February).
Police Constable Emma McMahon, from Leicestershire Police’s Missing Person Team, said: “We are very concerned for the welfare of Ross and officers are very keen to find him and make sure he is safe.
“Ross was reported missing a number of days ago and since the initial report we have been carrying out enquiries to establish his whereabouts.
“We believe Ross travelled to Edinburgh last Friday but since then he could have returned back to Leicestershire. We will be continuing to carry out enquiries to establish his movements but we are also asking for the public to help – have you seen Ross or a man matching his description?
“Any information you may have could assist us with finding him.”
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the non-emergency police number of 101, quoting incident number 555 of 24 February 2023, or alternatively use the ‘Report a missing person’ portal on the force’s website.
