It is setting up shop inside of the former Joy Indian Takeaway on Bond Street, outside Nuneaton town centre.

Joy Indian Takeaway have had a presence in town’s former Wales Fish and Chips shop since December 2021, but recently closed their doors for good after it went up on the property market.

News of the new use was made known through a new sign which was recently erected atop the site, simply reading: “HCK Noodle Express”, which confirmed the new name.

In addition, the smaller sub text reveals further details, adding: “Chinese food to takeaway – home delivery.”

HCK have two existing locations – with one in the nearby Leicestershire town of Earl Shilton, and another on Burton upon Trent’s Hawkins Business Park.

The acronym in their name (HCK) simply stands for “Hottest Chinese Kitchen”.

And, according to a statement on their website, HCK “are very proud to provide our top-level Chinese food service in your community”.

The brand spokesperson further added: “We are always committed to giving our customers the best taste of Chinese meals out of the ancient Chinese ingredients”.

At the time of publication (Sunday, 12 February), no further details on the new Nuneaton location were made known online.

But, the local branch – simply trading as HCK Nuneaton – was recently incorporated as a new business on corporate portfolio website Endole on Monday, 30 January.
