Parking restrictions in place on Barwell road starting Sunday

TEMPORARY PARKING restrictions will be in place on a Barwell road starting this Sunday (12 Feburary).

Parking restrictions will be in place on Stanley Street between Doctor Cookes Close and the car park entrance, as this was given the ‘thumbs up’ by the Council’s Highways Team as a public safety measure so new electricity connections can be installed.

But, as a result of the works, residents will not be able to park up as usual – and this will last for a total of 12 days.

It is thought that drivers will be able to use the road once again from Friday, 24 January.

The electricity connections are being installed by A and C Traffic Safety Solutions, on behalf of Murphy Power Distribution.
