Witness appeal after laptop and jewellery stolen in Nuneaton

NUNEATON POLICE officers have launched an appeal after for witnesses after jewellery and a laptop were stolen by burglars.

Burglars struck at an address on Copsewood Avenue in the Whitestone area last Friday afternoon (20 January), between the hours of 3pm and 4pm.

The force understand that three unknown males forced entry into the house, where they carried out an ‘untidy’ search before removing a quantity jewellery and a laptop.

The males involved have been described as white and were believed to be wearing surgical masks, whilst one of the men is thought to have been dressed in a blue hoodie.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: “As part of our ongoing enquiries, we have identified that a BMW 3 series Estate may have been involved in the incident.

“We’re therefore appealing for any members of the public who saw that type of vehicle in the area at the time or anyone acting suspiciously to come forward.”

Anyone with details is being urged to contact Warwickshire Police directly on the non-emergency number of 101, quoting incident number 210 of 20 January.
