A HINCKLEY-BASED health campaigner has made his debut as a panelist on a high profile national radio programme on LBC.

Mathew Hulbert has made his debut as a panelist when he appeared on “Cross Question”, presented by broadcaster and political pundit Iain Dale.
He was joined on the panel by Tory MP and former Education Secretary, Kit Malthouse, Labour MP and Chair of the Commons Petition Committee, Catherine McKinnell, and Love Island ‘Islander’ and influencer, Amy Hart.
The programme was broadcast live from LBC’s studios in Westminster and could be watched online and heard on the radio.
The panel discussed many issues, ranging from public sector strikes, Prince Harry and Meghan’s controversial ‘Megflix’ documentary, and the right to protest.
Mr. Hulbert has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and was a radio reporter with a group of commercial radio stations in the Midlands from 2004 to 2009.
Commenting on his appearance on the show, Mathew said: “It was a real honour to be invited to appear on this programme, to discuss some of the big issues of the day and answer questions from listeners.
“It was a very interesting and lively debate. I’ve received lots of positive feedback about it, which is very kind of people. I look forward to appearing on the show again, hopefully later this year.”
