Nuneaton man faces five charges in connection with incident – including attempted murder

A MAN from Nuneaton has been charged with attempted murder, in connection with an incident in Abbey Street last Thursday evening (12 January),

Warwickshire Police have officially confirmed that 24-year-old, Luke Ryan of Norman Avenue, in close proximity to the Queens Road of the town centre, has faced five charges in connection with the incident, which took place on Abbey Street and Norman Avenue.

According to the force in a statement shared on their official website, he has been charged with attempted murder, threats to kill, common assault, possession of a bladed article, and threatening a person with a bladed article.

He has been remanded in custody and he appeared before the courts at Nuneaton Magistrates’ Court on Vicarage Street yesterday (Saturday, 14 January).
