LIMITED market stalls will operate on Hinckley market tomorrow (Saturday, 7 January).
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC) made the news known in an announcement posted on Facebook today (Friday, 6 January), where they explained this is down to high winds being forecasted on the day.
The council spokesperson stated that only market stalls selling ‘perishable’ food items such as bread, fruit, and vegetables, will set up their stalls and operate, alongside traders who operate from their vans.
An apology was issued in a brief statement, and it was noted that the market will trade as normal on Monday (9 January).
They added: “Sorry for any inconvenience, weather permitting the market will return to normal on Monday.”
