Road in Littlethorpe to temporarily close from next Monday for water connection works

A ROAD in Littlethorpe, near Narborough, is to temporarily close for three days from next Monday (9 January).

Leicestershire County Council’s Highways Team have given the ‘thumbs up’ for a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) to be put in place on Warwick Road from the property numbered 18 and the junction with Parnell Close from 9 January to 12 January.

The road closure will be put in place so that water firm Severn Trent Water and their contractors can install a new water connection.

The closure serves as a public safety measure whilst the works are being carried out.

According to the County Council, a proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Cosby Road, The Square, Station Road, Riverside Way, Littlethorpe and vice versa.

Whilst the closure is in place, Leicestershire County Council (LCC) have suggested motorists view any more alternative routes through the one.network road map.
