That is according to Hinckley and Bosworth’s Tory Member of Parliament, Dr. Luke Evans, who received reports from ‘a number’ of his constituents who stressed that they were incorrectly fined after parking up on the business centre’s car park.

The fines were incorrectly being dished out to drivers due to the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (APNR) camera technology which is in use at the nearby Market Bosworth Hall Hotel.

After receiving the letters of complaints, the Bosworth MP reached out to ParkingEye, who confirmed that the fines were issued ‘following a human error’.

Dr. Luke issued a statement on social media sharing site Twitter.

He explained: “A number of constituents have been in contact to say they were issued with incorrect parking fines at Swan House Business Centre in Market Bosworth, due to the ANPR parking camera at Bosworth Hall Hotel.

“After immediately contacting ParkingEye, I am pleased to say they have informed me that these fines were issued following a human error.

He concluded: “ParkingEye are sending letters to all those affected to apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
