NUNEATON POLICE officers have launched a CCTV appeal to help with enquiries after a gold bracelet was reportedly stolen by someone impersonating a cleaner.

On Thursday, November 10 – just two weeks and three days ago – a woman reportedly knocked on the door of a Nuneaton resident, in which she claimed to be from a cleaning company, before asking to use the resident’s toilet.
The resident then allowed the woman to use their toilet, but shortly noticed after she left that a 22 carat gold charm bracelet was noticed to be missing from the property.
And now, officers believe that the woman who has been pictured above on CCTV camera footage, may be able to assist with their enquiries.
Detectives are asking for the woman, or anybody who knows her, to get in touch with officers through their non-emergency number of 101, citing crime reference incident number 180 of November 10.
Details can also be passed on online instead, through the force’s ‘Report a crime’ portal on their official website respectively.
Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
