A NEW clothing shop named Damaged Society is setting up shop in Leicester’s Highcross Shopping Centre – and new jobs are up for grabs.

Posters have been placed in the side windows of the unit inside of the Highcross Shopping Centre revealing that Derby-based independent fashion retailer, Damaged Society, are hiring staff members for their brand new Leicester outlet.

It simply reads: “Damaged Society – new store opening. We are hiring. Get involved. Send your CV and cover letter to recruitment@damagedsociety.co.uk.”

A new listing for the branch has been posted on their website confirming the new store is ‘opening soon’ – stating that the brand are in the process of looking for a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, as well as Store Assistants respectively.

Those interested in working at the shop are being encouraged to apply by simply emailing recruitment@damagedsociety.co.uk, by including the shop location and role you are applying for in the email subject line to pass on the application.

A word of encouragement for applicants posted on the careers website, gives applicants an idea of what they should know before applying for the roles.

It states: “Any job in our stores requires a positive attitude, great customer service and sales skills. Fashion retail experience, computer literacy, flexibility and enthusiasm for our brands are helpful too.”
