They will be able to park for free in the Hinckley College car park, Lower Bond Street car park, Trinity West car park, and Castle car park after 9am in the four Saturdays before Christmas, on the following dates listed below:
- Saturday, 3 December
- Saturday, 10 December
- Saturday, 17 December
- Saturday, 24 December
Bosses at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC) agreed to repeat the popular offer again this year as a way to say ‘thank you’ to shoppers for their loyalty, and to further increase trade for shops and businesses alike.
Shoppers have been reminded that parking is free in all borough council-operated car parks on Sundays throughout the year.
Council Leader, Cllr Stuart Bray said: “We fully appreciate the financial challenges this Christmas everyone is facing but hope that this free parking offer will urge residents to support their local high street, market and hospitality venues if they can.
He concluded: “[I also give] my thanks to North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) for opening their car park to shoppers.”
