HINCKLEY and Bosworth Borough Council have given residents a ‘heads-up’ over electoral registration canvassers paying visits to some homes across the borough.

The reminder of the home visits was issued by the Council on their social media channels, as many residents are often wary about unwanted doorstop sellers.
The Electoral Registration Canvassers will be paying a visit to those in Hinckley and Market Bosworth who have not yet responded to the Annual Electoral Canvass.
As well as this, they will also be taking doorstep registrations of those who haven’t supplied their personal details.
All canvassers will be carrying Hinckley and Bosworth ID cards, so if you do hear a knock at the door and see them, you will know that they are meant to be there.
However, if you still haven’t filled out the form yet, and you don’t want them to visit, you can do so online through the Borough Council’s website, or call 01455 238141.
