New discount retailer One Beyond opening next Friday inside of Nuneaton’s Ropewalk

NUNEATON’S BRAND NEW discount shop, which offers ‘amazing value from only £1’, is opening in a major unit inside of the Ropewalk shopping centre next Friday.

New signage has emerged at the former TJ Hughes store inside of the Ropewalk over the course of the past few days, revealing that ‘One Beyond’ are the new tenants.

As the Hinckley Free Press reported six days ago, our Ropewalk sources revealed that contractors were working inside for One Below – who are One Beyond’s parent company – helping to preparing the unit ready for its grand opening to the public.

A written statement has been posted on an advertising board inside of the unit, simply informing passers-by of the new tenant and their opening date.

It reads: “One Beyond. Amazing value from only £1. Opening Friday 7th October at 10am.”

The new discounter, who have a primary focus on all products being £1 or less, will help to breathe new life back into both floors of the Ropewalk’s biggest unit.

The unit has previously sat empty and untouched for a total of two years and two months, after TJ Hughes closed its doors for the final time in July 2020.

One Beyond aren’t the only new tenants lined up to join the Ropewalk. A job vacancy on Glassdoor has been revealed HMV are looking to head back to the complex, after a two-year hiatus.
