NUNEATON’S newest haberdashery supply shop will open the doors to its brand new newly-acquired unit for the first time this week.

The Handcrafters Hub, located on Abbey Street, will open to town-goers from inside the former Allsopp and Allsopp estate agents space this Wednesday (28 September).
Before acquiring the brand new unit, the haberdashery stockists have had a long-established presence in town for many years, previously being based on the market on market days, and then as a stall inside of the Saints Nuneaton community hub.
Gail Dodd, Owner of The Handcrafters Hub, made the announcement of the long-awaited opening known to her customers through social media site Facebook.
It simply reads: “Finally – after months and months of delays, we are finally in! Our official opening date is Wednesday, 28 September, but we are in the shop transferring goods. If the door is open, pop in, say ‘hello’ and have a look at all our new stock.
“We have lots of new 100% cotton fabrics with more on the way, loads of Christmas craft kits and all our usual ribbons, buttons, bias binding, tapes and usual crafty bits and bobs. Call in and stock up, we’ve missed you all”.
Abbey Street could soon welcome a brand new business in gambling giant Paddy Power, if plans are approved. They recently made their plans known to open inside of the former Bodycare health and beauty shop on the same street.
The Handcrafters Hub is one of the newest businesses to join the town centre.
Other new recently opened ventures in the town include tanning salon Aftaglow, on Harefield Road and Greek restaurant Emmy’s Pitta, on Newdegate Street.
