Hinckley Police appealing to identify man after more than £330 worth of items taken in shop thefts

HINCKLEY POLICE officers have launched a public appeal to help identify a man following three thefts from the same shop on Castle Street in Hinckley.

Items worth more than £330 were taken from the publicly unnamed shop in Hinckley town centre on 17 August, 19 August, and 21 August.

CCTV camera imagery of the man that the force want to identify has been released today (Wednesday, 21 September).

PCSO Phil Wane, who patrols Hinckley town centre, has urged residents and town-goers to get in touch if they recognise the man in the security camera photos.

He said: “I believe the man pictured may have information about these incidents. Do you recognise him? Do you know who he is? If so, please get in touch. Likewise if you’re the person pictured, then I would ask you to come forward.”

Those who recognises him are able to pass on details by calling the non-emergency police number of 101, quoting police reference numbers 22498773, 22498787 or 22*498814. Alternatively, details can be reported through the police website.
