Officially opening their bright-red doors to the delight of Leicester’s coffee lovers from 7am tomorrow morning (21 September), Tim’s are set to hand out their first special prizes for the first in the queue in-store and for drive-thru lane for motorists respectively.

It has been a transformation that began in June, though after many months of eager coffee connoisseurs patiently waiting for the big day to get their fix, the time has finally come for those who turn up to get their Tim’s at the Grove Farm Triangle.

The first lucky customers in the drive-thru and restaurant queue will be awarded free drinks for an entire year – a massive prize worth a whopping and staggering sum of £3,100.

And, the first 100 customers to head on down will be given a free breakfast meal.

All customers will be given a chance to enjoy the celebrations, with a series of weekly promotions for all to enjoy.

Building boasts brand-new look

The building is almost unrecognisable from its former lease of life – making it very modernised for its brand-new use.

Boasting touch-screen kiosks, drive-thru windows, spacious seating areas, charging points – for those who wish to surf the web – and has even seen the creation of an all-new ‘al-fresco dining area’ outside the front of the building, fitted with circular tables.

An exclusive offer is currently available for the first week, giving those who turn up the chance to try a breakfast meal for £1.99.

Not the only location

This now means that Leicester is home to two Tim Hortons locations, with the first being located in the city centre.

Commenting on the opening of the brand-new site, Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of Tim Hortons franchise in the U.K, said: “Having opened our flagship in Leicester back in 2019, we have built a tremendous following within the local community and have a fantastic relationship with our fans and customers.

“Because of this, we have been truly excited to bring this second venue to area, but this time offering a drive-thru, which will allow even better access to the food and drink that are already well-loved here.”

He concluded: “We have some well-sought after prizes up our sleeve for the opening and can’t wait to share the excitement with our first guests on the day.

“We have recruited an incredible team of fifty new staff members who have been training hard to prepare for the grand opening so we know it’s going to be an incredible launch!”

Tasty treats to be had

Tim’s have a wide range of tasty treats to tuck in to.
