A ROAD in Narborough is to temporarily close for two days – starting tomorrow morning (Thursday, 15 September).

Leicestershire County Council’s Highways Team have given the green light for a road closure to be put in place from the junction on Forest Road to The Pastures’ junction with Stainmore Avenue.
As a result, a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) will be implemented for public safety so that Severn Trent Water to undertake repair and maintenance work.
According to online traffic road map one.network, the works will start at 8am on 15 September, and will continue to be carried out until 6pm the next day (16 September).
A proposed alternative diversion route has been put in place.
According to the County Council, this is as follows: Forest Road, Narborough; Forest Road, Desford Road, Lubbesthorpe; Desford Road, Mill Hill, Blaby Road, Leicester Road, Enderby; King Edward Avenue, Desford Road, Forest Road, Narborough.
