A WOMAN who walked out of Nuneaton’s George Eliot Hospital at around 7am this morning has been found, Warwickshire Police officers have confirmed.
Around 6.30am this morning (31 July), the woman attended the George Eliot Hospital, on College Street in Nuneaton, where she remained for just half an hour, before suddenly making off at 7am, without showing any forms of identification to staff.
Her somewhat sudden disappearance led to an appeal being shared by police officers on social media at around 11.50am, in hopes that somebody who recognised her, or who has seen her in the day, would get in touch with details on who she was.
At the time of the appeal being shared, Sergeant Louise Baxter, from the force, had said previously that the police were “concerned for the woman’s welfare”.
Thankfully, approximately three hours later at 2.20pm, an update was shared by the force confirming that she had been identified and found.
It reads: “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal earlier today to help identify a woman who had left the George Eliot Hospital.
“We are pleased to confirm she has now been identified and found.”
