HINCKLEY POLICE officers have announced the return of their ‘pop-up’ cop shop inside of a Hinckley town centre shopping mall.
In a new newsletter update released today by members of the Burbage Beat Team, it has been revealed that Hinckley police officers are to bring back their shop inside of the Britannia Shopping Centre.
The shop is located next to Peacocks, and directly opposite Boots and Wilko.
It gives borough residents the opportunity to raise their concerns with town police officers about any community related issues and even pick up crime prevention tools.
They will even be able to receive crime prevention advice from members of the Beat Team.
In past months when it previously traded, over 600 members of the public stopped by to make use of it and have a chat to cops about local issues.
At present, it is unknown if workshops are to be held inside of the unit once again. Workshops were previously held for youngsters and teenagers.
New session dates
A total of two dates for the re-opening of the shop have been announced.
These are as follows:
- Monday, 8 August – 10am – 12pm
- Saturday, 27 August – 10am – 12pm
