A POPULAR cafe with a long well-established presence in Hinckley town centre have moved out of their original space – but re-located into a new unit just yards away.

The Corner Cafe, which used to be based on the corner of Rugby Road for many years, have moved into the former Ironcraft showroom directly opposite, on the corner of Coventry Road, next door to the Easy Shop convenience store.
Customers have been made aware of the re-location thanks to new shiny green signage, a brand new logo, and vinyl images of coffees, breakfasts, and cakes on the exterior of the unit.
Their former premises is now vacated as a result – but has not yet been placed on the property market.
The cafe remains under the same ownership. It is open daily. It trades from 7am to 3pm from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, it opens from 7am, but shuts at 2.30pm.
This isn’t the only new eatery to set up shop on Regent Street. The street is set to welcome yet another cafe. As the Hinckley Free Press reported earlier this month, Addylline Cafe are set to open soon in part of the old Voodoo Lounge club.
Addylline will serve up freshly baked goods, prepared meals, and alcoholic beverages on-site, on a dine-in basis. An opening date for the venture is not yet known at the time of publication (Tuesday, 26 July).
