MANY CLASSIC vehicles will be on display across Hinckley town centre this evening (Thursday, 21 July), as a part of Hinckey BID’s series of ‘Classic Vehicle Meet’ events.

They will mainly be parked up across Castle Street and Market Place, amongst other town centre streets, so that town-goers will have the chance to have a look at some classic vehicles in the heart of Hinckley, completely free of charge.

The vehicles will be on display for a total of three hours – from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

Entrance to the vehicle meet will be from Station Road.

Event organisers at Hinckley Bid have invited those who own classic vehicles to head on down, but they stressed that the vehicles must have a pre-2000 registration.

They said: “Anyone with a classic vehicle of any kind who would like to pop along would be most welcome.

“To exhibit on the evening, vehicles should be pre-2000 registration or qualify as ‘special interest’. This will be determined by a marshal on the day.”

Those who are unable to not able to make the event should not worry, as there will be a final classic vehicle meet next month on the evening of Thursday, 18 August.
