HINCKLEY’S newest Castle Street business have officially announced an opening time for their grand opening next Wednesday.
As the Hinckley Free Press reported earlier this month, Hinckley’s former regional Age UK charity shop is re-opening with a brand new use – a new branch of East Midlands Pet and Reptile Supplies – who already have a location on Saffron Lane, in Leicester.
The interior and exterior renovation works on the unit have been taking place since the start of the month, just after the keys were acquired.
A new reptile room has been created inside, new store counters have been installed, and, the storefront signage outside has now been installed, showing shoppers that they have taken on the prominent Castle Street unit on the high street.
This week, a sign was posted in the window which stated that they plan to hold their grand opening at 10am on Wednesday, 22 June.
It simply reads: “Yes – East Midlands Pet and Reptile Supplies will be open from 10am on the 22nd of June.
“Come and celebrate with us and receive 10% discount throughout the whole store.
“We will even pay your parking, for up to one hour!”
It is housed directly next door to Model Collect Create (MCC), which opened with a ‘soft launch’ back in March inside of Hinckley’s former Emmaus charity shop.
Also on Castle Street, the RSPCA have announced their plans to open in the coming weeks, inside of the recently-closed Mind charity shop.
As well as this, a new coffeehouse named The Wild Lotus – located next door to the Optical People opticians – have revealed they have their sights set on opening in July.
