Yesterday morning, around 11am to 11.30am, a child was found injured on King Edward Road in Nuneaton.

An unknown woman found the injured child and helped to take them to safety.

Now, investigating officers are aiming to identify the woman, who is being treated as a witness and ‘Good Samaritan’, as she may have some information which could assist with the force’s enquiries.

Those who have any details on the incident, or feel that they may know the woman who was involved, are being encouraged to contact the police through their non-emergency number of 101, quoting incident number 19 of 3 June 2022.
