Three people charged with drug offences after officers spotted suspected drug deal in Nuneaton

THREE PEOPLE have been charged after drugs were seized by officers out on the beat in Camp Hill, Nuneaton, three days ago (Monday, 25 May).

Police officers working with Nuneaton Proactive CID arrested four people on Monday afternoon after they had spotted a suspected drug deal taking place on Queen Elizabeth Road in the Camp Hill area.

Warwickshire Police have been able to share the names and location information of three of those who were ‘charged with being concerned’ in the incident.

Lentine Shaw, 27, of Guild Road, Coventry, Anthony Robinson, 43, of Queen Elizabeth Road, Nuneaton and Laura Wardall, 39, of Queen Elizabeth Road, Nuneaton, were all charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

All three appeared at Coventry Magistrates – and at the hearing at the Magistrates Court, they were all subsequently remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court next month, on Thursday, 23 June.

As well as this, a 45-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs, but he was released whilst under investigation whilst enquiries are currently ongoing.
