Leicestershire County Council’s Highways Team have agreed to putting a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order in place so that the works are able to go ahead.

The traffic regulation order has been implemented as a public safety measure so Severn Trent Water and their team of contractors are able to carry out installation works for a new water connection.

As a result of the water connection works, temporary parking restrictions are further in place.

And, parking bays between properties numbered 17 to 25 Windsor Street will be suspended for the same amount of time.

According to online traffic map, one.network, two-way traffic control signals are to be installed and put in place.

It is expected that the works are to be about four days long – and they should be fully completed by Thursday, 12 May.
