HINCKLEY POLICE detectives have launched a public appeal to identify a man after a bike was stolen from outside of a shop in Burbage.

It was taken shortly before 6pm on Sunday, 27 March – three weeks and four days ago.
The bike was left outside of a shop based on Tilton Road, along with a helmet.
But, when the owner – a teenage boy – had returned to where he had left the bike, he had discovered that they had gone.
PC Jon Marvell, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim left his bike outside of the shop briefly while he went in with some friends. When he returned his bike and helmet had both been stolen.
“We’ve carried out a number of enquiries and are now looking to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV – he may have some information which is useful to our investigation.
He concluded: “If you know who he is or can help locate the stolen bike, please contact us.”
Those with any details can call police on their non-emergency number of 101 by quoting incident number 22*176417.
Alternatively, the incident can be reported online through the ‘Report a crime’ portal of the official Leicestershire Police website.
