The session, arranged by Edukit, is being held on a ‘walk-in’ basis, meaning that parents wanting to bring their children to the sessions can simply show up, without having to book in advance.

It will give local children a fun time to express their creativity as they create flowers, spring chicks, or whatever else that they can think up relating to the Springtime.

Attendees will be supported by a team of experts who are on hand to help them with their crafts.

A spokesperson for the Atkins Building explained that children will have “plenty of ideas and levels to choose from”.

As well as this, they can even enter into the Spring Challenge competition, in hopes of winning ‘great prizes’ – and the competition entries will be posted on Instagram.

The session will run from 10am until 3pm – providing five hours of fun.

Cakes and coffees will be available to purchase on-site from the Hansom Cafe – and customers will have the chance of dining inside the Atkins Building and Gallery itself, or the al-fresco on the outdoor dining area, looking on to the college campus.

Parents will also have the chance to purchase craft supplies which they can buy and take home with them.
