This afternoon (10 April), concerned Earl Shilton residents living near the Weaver Springs Park contacted Hinckley Police officers after they had spotted yobs on motorbikes inside of the park who were “causing anti-social behaviour with little regard for the welfare of park users and families”.

These reports prompted in PCSO’s and police officers from the NH26 and NH27 Beat Team paying a visit to the park.

And, the police’s prompt actions seen the two motorbikes – belonging to the yobs – get seized for good, before they were subsequently sent on down to a scrapyard.

They were taken on down to the scrapyard on the back of a recovery vehicle.

A spokesperson for Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC), stated: “Good news for Earl Shilton residents. Thanks to PCSO’s and Beat Teams 26 and 27. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.”
