Those who are part of the aforementioned criteria are able to apply for the grants through the application form at this link.

Those who have been successful in applying for a grant in past times cannot re-apply for it until twelve months have passed in total.

Council Vice Chair, Coun. Mathew Hulbert, who chairs the authority’s Voluntary Sector Working Group, said: “We know that these continue to be tough times for community groups and charities and we want to play our part as a parish council in providing what help and support we can.

He concluded: “These grants are one way we’re able to do that. We thank local not-for-profit groups for all they’ve done and continue to do to support our community during the pandemic and encourage them to submit an application for consideration.”

The deadline to apply for the next round of the grant is next month – it ends on Sunday, 15 May, which will be further discussed in full at a Parish Council meeting in June.
