Today (30 March), Out Out owners confirmed to the Free Press – and their Facebook followers – that their ‘long-awaited’ opening will be celebrated with a ‘grand opening’ this Friday (1 April) from 10pm ‘until late’, giving people a reason to go “out out”.

Their statement stated that Hinckley’s night life “has been suffering for far too long”, further adding: “The town centre no longer being what it once was back in the day.”

However, they praised Eivissa, Revival, The Bounty, and other town bars and clubs, for their attempts in ‘fighting hard to keep the town centre thriving, and full of life’.

It was further mentioned that after the grand opening, its regular opening hours will be from 8pm every Friday and Saturday night, but the idea of remaining open longer will be entertained by the owners, if there proves to be enough demand from users.

“Out Out features music from our very own resident DJ, who specialises in the Dance, R&B and Club genres, making sure no two sets ever the same!”, the post continued.

A wide array of drinks will be on offer – including a selection of gins, vodkas, liquors, and even a range of bottled beers and ciders.

The post concluded with a polite reminder, asking those who plan on visiting this Friday to be ‘patient and understanding’, as staff are ‘yet to come to grips with their duties and responsibilities as they provide the town centre with a brilliant night out’.

Out Out is named after a popular stand-up comedy routine by Micky Flanagan, where he jokes about going “out out”, which means that a night of festivities is in order.

It is based inside of the former Vis-a-vis shots bar, in a unit inside of the Edwards Centre, on Regent Street, directly opposite the Highcross Buildings.

Another new business that will open in Hinckley soon is the Bikaneri Bar and Restaurant, which is set to open its doors on 5 April.
