500 free garlic breads being given to diners inside of Zizzi’s new Fosse Park restaurant to celebrate opening

ITALIAN RESTAURANT chain Zizzi have officially opened their doors to their newest restaurant in Fosse Park, much to the delight of foodies – and 500 free garlic breads are being given to diners to celebrate the opening.

Their newest location is based inside of the Food Central complex in the Fosse Park shopping centre and can seat 94 customers inside and 28 outside.

And, it marks the chain’s newest restaurant to open after two and a half years, seeing 40 jobs created locally.

No customer is left out when it comes to the menu as the chain cater for all diets – giving meat eaters, non-gluten, vegetarians, and vegans, a wide array of pizzas, pastas, salads, and desserts to tuck in to.

The General Manager of Zizzi’s new Fosse Park branch, said: “We are delighted to have opened the doors to our brand-new Zizzi Fosse Park restaurant.

“Zizzi Leicester is a well-loved restaurant and Fosse Park is a fantastic location to have a second restaurant in the city.

“We cannot wait to see our customers sharing happy times over our delicious, much-loved and mouth-watering Italian dishes with a twist.

They concluded: “Through the unique restaurant design taken from local hues, we are looking forward to helping our customers reconnect with each other, by creating the perfect backdrop for great times.”

The next Zizzi restaurant to open will be in Lancaster in April.

The new restaurant takes inspiration from modern British and rustic Italian design to create a ‘laid-back cool interior’ which reflects Zizzi’s fun warm rustic Italian personality.

Upon arrival, customers will notice the chain’s ‘iconic’ wood-fire oven and inviting natural touches and fun features – and the artwork inside is inspired by the unique energy of the local area.

The fresh new look artwork inside is designed by Natasha Russell, with links to the local diving quarry in Stoney Cove, which is now the largest inland diving area in the United Kingdom, and is local to Fosse Park.

Zizzi first opened its doors and fired up its signature pizza ovens in Chiswick over 20 years ago.

Today, there are over 130 Zizzi restaurants in the UK & Ireland, but the Zizzi way remains the same.

Those wanting to pay a visit can do so from 11.30am until 10pm from Monday to Sunday.
