ANOTHER EMPTY unit based on Regent Street in Hinckley town centre is set to be filled by a new occupant.

The Hinckley Free Press have today learnt that Leicester-based brand, Keysound, who specialise in selling pianos and keyboards, have took on the former Euronics unit, which has sat vacant and untouched for many years.
The news was broke in a statement on their official Facebook page three days ago (19 March), reading: “Exciting things are happening and we want to share some important news with you.
“After 45 successful years on Narborough Road in Leicester are expanding *sic) and as a result we are relocating to new premises.
“These new premises located around 12 miles from our current base are in the rapidly growing market town of Hinckley.”
The Keysound spokesperson concluded: “This will enable us to better serve our customers and Hinckley is still centrally located for many of our customers we will enjoy almost 3 times the space we currently have which will enable us to offer an even larger range of products for customers to try and compare.
“Most importantly you will still receive the same warm welcome and friendly service from Steve, Ria and Paul.”
Yamaha, Roland, Kawai, Korg, and Casio are the major names to be stocked at their music shop.
The statement also revealed that there will even be a private car park at the back of the site for customers to use.
The doors to their store are planned to open next week on Monday, 28 March.
Other openings
It is not the only store to regenerate Regent Street in recent months – before this, the most recent occupant to set up shop was Benito’s just a month ago, who transformed part of the Quartz nightclub in to Hinckley’s newest Mexican eatery.
Also in the area, new nightspot OUT-OUT have teased customers by placing new black and white signage on their unit.
