DROP-IN vaccination sessions are being held every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday inside of the Hinckley Leisure Centre in the Argents Mead park this month.
All of the sessions are for doses of the Pfizer vaccine, according to a post shared on social media by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC).
Those who are currently unvaccinated can receive their first Covid-19 vaccination – and anyone who is after their second dose or booster jab can receive them.
On each of the days that the sessions are being held, different age groups will receive their vaccinations at two different times.
From 12pm to 3pm, those aged 16 and over will be able to receive their vaccines.
And, from 3.15pm to 7pm, those aged 12 and over will be able to get vaccinated.
No appointment or prior booking is necessary, as the sessions are being held on a ‘drop-in’ basis, meaning that anyone can simply walk in.
People are being encouraged to bring their NHS numbers with them to the sessions.
Children aged 12 and over will be offered a single dose of the Pfizer vaccine – but they must be accompanied by their parents or guardians so that consent can be obtained.
And, they will have to wait 12 weeks after testing positive for coronavirus before they can get vaccinated.
Adults who have tested positive for coronavirus will have to wait 28 days before they can receive their vaccine.
It has been noted that adults have to wait eight weeks between being given each dose, whilst those aged 12 to 17 must wait 12 weeks in total.
