A METHODIST CHURCH and Community Library in Burbage were targeted by burglars earlier this week, with just one day between each of the burglaries, according to the Beat Team in a post for the Parish Council newsletter.
The first burglary took place at the Burbage Methodist Church, located on Windsor Street, on Sunday, 20 February, between 7.45pm and 9.20pm.
They made off with a “small” amount of cash, as well as some other items, which were not described in any further detail in the police appeal.
Police officers are now asking residents in the Windsor Street and Grove Road area to review any doorbell, or CCTV camera footage, for any ‘suspicious activity’ on this date.
