ACTIVITY has been spotted at a former estate agents, based on New Buildings, in Hinckley town centre today (Friday, 25 February).

Various parts of furniture were noticed inside the unit, which was once home to Spencers Letting and Estate Agents.

But, at this moment in time there is no clear indication on what its next lease of life could be.

The unit is “under offer” through Station Road-based chartered surveyors, Wards, according to a sign atop the unit – this means that an offer has been accepted, but the contracts have not yet been exchanged.

Spencers quietly moved out of their Hinckley location in September 2020, meaning that it has sat empty and untouched for one year and five months in total.

As a result of the closure, their customers have been directed over to their branch in Blaby, based on Leicester Road, approximately a 22 minute drive away.
