AMERICAN footwear company, Skechers, are to set up shop in Fosse Park West, marking their second official outlet store in Leicestershire.
Yesterday evening (Wednesday, 16 February), the Hinckley Free Press spotted that posters had been placed in the windows of the unit next to H&M.
The sign states that the brand are already recruiting for their brand new location and that they will open this year. They are encouraging passers-by to ‘join the team’.
It simply reads: “Skechers. Opening 2022. Now hiring.
“Join our team by visiting about.skechers.com/careers for more details.”

This will mark the second Skechers location in Leicester, as there is also a store in the Highcross Shopping Centre, based in the city centre, which is a 15 minute drive away.
It is not the only shoe shop who have plans to open a new store in Fosse Park West.
It was just nine days ago that global sportswear giant, Nike, submitted plans for two illuminated ‘Swoosh’ logos to be installed next door to TK Maxx.
These planning applications were ‘granted’ and approved by bosses at Blaby District Council, and their recruitment process is now underway.
