The County Council’s Highways Team have agreed to putting a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order in place on the road – in a week and one days’ time (14 February).

Plans to install the temporary traffic lights were ‘green lit’ as temporary parking restrictions are required on the road, between the roundabout with Stoke Road and Hollycroft, as well as the junction with Palmer Road.

The Traffic Regulation Order is in place so that Phillip Lally Ltd. and their contractors can carry out required drainage and sewer connection works on the highway, a spokesperson for Leicestershire County Council explained in a statement.
