The illegal cannabis farm was found to be growing across a total of three floors at a property located on Hinckley Road in Nuneaton.

Officers discovered the haul of illegal plants one week and one day ago (27 January), after they received a tip-off, which alerted them to investigate the property.

The news of the discovery was only made public knowledge two days ago (2 February), when Warwickshire Police shared the news on social media sharing site, Facebook.

Two arrests have since been made following the incident.

“A 32-year-old man from Peterhead and a 39-year-old man from Corby have both been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity”, confirmed a spokesperson for the police force on their official Facebook page.
