The ‘well-equipped’ cannabis factory – located inside of the loft of the property – was found by officers from the local beat team who were working alongside the neighbourhood proactive team on a drugs warrant.

Together, both teams found little plants which were ready to start growing, and a large cannabis leaf which was hidden away that was ready to be sent out into the streets.

Officers from the force have estimated that the illegal drugs are worth over £10,000.

One man was arrested at the address, as a result of the discovery, a Hinckley Police spokesperson confirmed on Facebook this evening (Wednesday, 26 January).
