20-year-old and two teenagers arrested in connection with photo booth fire in Hinckley’s Crescent last Thursday

TWO TEENAGE boys and a 20-year-old man were arrested in connection with an arson attack which was carried out inside of Hinckley’s Crescent complex in the early hours last Friday morning.

Hinckley Police officers have revealed to the Free Press today that a 13-year-old from Leicester, 15-year-old from Burbage, and 20-year-old from Hinckley were arrested as part of an investigation into a photo booth being set ablaze shortly after 3.30am last Thursday (January 20).

All involved individuals were arrested in connection with the incident – but, they have since been released under investigation.

However, officers have stressed that enquiries into the incident are still ongoing.

The police force are keen to speak to anyone who has information, or who has noticed anything unusual or untoward inside of The Crescent, Argents Mead, or Granville Park, between 2.30am and 3am on Thursday 20 January.

They are urging those with with details to come forward, by calling the non-emergency police number of 101, quoting reference 22*036762, or alternatively, by reporting the incident online through the official Leicestershire Police website.
