NORTH Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) have revealed that their Wigston Campus, based in South Wigston, will not be open to users tomorrow.

The college group posted a social media statement on Facebook today, citing “ongoing maintenance and technical issues with the heating” as the reasoning behind keeping the doors to the Blaby Road-based college shut tomorrow (Tuesday, 25 January).
A spokesperson for the college confirmed that they will continue to press on with remote classes tomorrow planned timetable, as a result of the on-site issue.
Functional skills exams which were planned to go ahead for the 16 to 18 student cohort are now being rearranged to be held at a later date – and students will be informed of the rescheduled times.
However, it has somewhat confusingly been stressed in the same post, that exams and apprenticeships for adults will still go ahead.
A NWSLC spokesperson, said: “Functional skills exams for adults and apprenticeships will take place as planned.
“AAT exams will take place as planned.”
